Sonny with a Chance is an American sitcom revolves around Sonny Munroe (Demi Lovato), a teenage comedian who wins the chance of starring in So Random, the fictional children's sketch comedy series. Season 1 opens with a shot of a ringing telephone from Hollywood which anounces to Sonny to appear on So Random!. She screams into the phone, drops it and quickly packs a suitcase.
