Danny Wright (Greg Kinnear) and Bean (Hope Davis) are a couple whose life is quite happy and romantic in Denver, Colorado. After a heavy rain night, Danny nostalgily says goodbye with his wife to go on a business trip in Mexico City with his friend - Phil. Julian Noble (Pierce Brosnan) who is a killer also travels to Mexico to complete a new mission. Julian casually stays in the same hotel with Danny.
