The film's story revolves around the life of Ali (Christina Aguilera) - a girl who was born in a small town with strong voice, determines to get rid of poverty and uncertain future to pursue her dream in Los Angeles. After setting foot on the magnificent theater - The Lounge, Ali askes the padrone - Tess (Cher) to do the waiter. Fiery performances, intense and sexy outfits attracts this naive young girl. She vows to be performed on the stage of the theater.
