Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an American 3D CGI animated television series set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy. Season 5 opens with Darth Maul and Savage Opress stealing a fortune of republic credits, and bribing a squad of pirates to take down a pirate stronghold run by Hondo. Master Adi Gallia, intervene, and in the battle that follows Savage kills Adi. Hondo ambushes the squad of pirates and wins their loyalty back, while Obi-Wan fights Savage and Maul and cuts off Savage's left arm.
