After her father's kingdom is overrun by a rival lord, a princess and her bodyguard take refuge in a remote Shaolin temple. At the temple, the bodyguard becomes a student of Shaolin kung-fu. Through many difficult trials, he trains for the day when he must defend his princess and the temple from the brutal warlord.
