A story about redemption, the Note centers around Lars a middle-aged alcoholic, who through his addiction has lost everything, most importantly his wife and son. Now he carries around 'The Note', a constant reminder of his childhood in which he was subjected to sexual abuse at the hands of a school priest. Day by day he finds solace only in the bottle as he stalks his now young boy, longing for a life he's thrown away.
