Reel Crime/Real Story: The true crime story of the tragic murder of rising Latin music star, Selena Quintanilla Perez. Lovingly nicknamed the "Mexican Madonna," Selena was just twenty-three years old when her fan club president, Yolanda Saldivar, gunned her down in a cheap motel room in Corpus Christi, Texas. The 1995 film, Selena, tracks Selena's meteoric rise to chart-topping stardom and her whirlwind romance with band member and husband, Chris Perez.
